Start With Art (2014-2018) was a Pittsburgh based program designed to build a culture of collecting by gifting original, signed photographs from local photographers to newborn babies.  

I created 275 unique photogram images in the darkroom for babies born in PIttsburgh during the month of September 2016. Titled, Little Spectator, my intent is to draw attention to the vanishing definition that once defined photography and its collecting culture.  For this program, I created small versions of my larger three dimensional Spectator works to 'grow up' with a new generation that may never have the opportunity to engage in photography's analog process.
